Samuel French, Inc., the worldwide publishing house, has published thirty-four of Jason's one-act and full-length

IS A FRIEND OF MINE and WALKING ON THE MOON.
His newer plays have been presented in public readings in Hollywood
featuring such well-known actors as Burt Reynolds, Peter Falk, Charles Durning, Dan Lauria, Joe Mantegna, Christian Slater,
George Segal, Tony Danza, Jean Smart and Ron Perlman.
Jason previously served as playwright-in-residence for the
Cab Theatre Company, Producing Director for Silver Lining Productions (both located in New York), and, from 1989-93, served
as the Director of Special Projects for the Dramatists Guild. Awards and honors include recognition as the first "New
Voice in the American Theatre" at the 1993 William Inge Festival, and the Charles M. Getchell New Play Award for his
play, WALKING ON THE MOON.
Many of Jason's one-acts have proven to be enormously popular with high school and
college students, such as "The Prettiest Girl in Lafayette County," "Instincts," "Life After Elvis"
and "Can't Buy Me Love."
